A little ray of sunshine...

All this month over on Notes on paper Julie is trying to introduce a little brightness into our lives as the dull and dreary days surround us.

Today seemed an appropriate day to post my record of sunshine as we are suffering from serious 'spotty dog' over here in the North West. Thats fog for those of you not up with the family lingo.

For those of you that follow me on Twitter you may recall my tweet about my trip to buy a new bedtime read which resulted in a purchase of acrylic paints instead. Not great for reading but inside my shiny new set of paints there were no less than 4 shades of yellow.

I am still working on being able to wear yellow about my person, the only yellow items I own are some yellow leggings and a yellow tunic top. I fear I may look like a chicken [literally] if I combine the two.
Perhaps a yellow and grey combo is the way to go. Keep your eyes peeled there may be photographic evidence of such an outfit coming this way soon.

Good morning sunshine! Freakishly I was just pressing 'Pin It' on your sunny tubes when your comment landed in my inbox.

Yo're on the board now: http://pinterest.com/notesonpaper/a-month-of-sunrays/

Looking forward to your yellow + grey outfit.

And if we ever need a chicken costume for the cottage ... we know where to come ... [hang on ... isn't the theme Easter this time? Chick costume anyone?]!!

Lovely sunshine colours. I know what you mean about yellow. I do not own anything yellow perhaps I could try a journal, scrap or other page in yellow and take it from there. I think as my skin is a bit olive I would look very washed out.
