bunting bonanza...

Hello readers, followers and those who have happened to drop by. Are you feeling festive yet? No, me neither.
There is one thing that I dislike about autumn and that is the speed with which everything turns Christmassy. Don't get me wrong I *♥* Christmas but I also love the excited feeling that you get when you know it's coming - that kind of feeling is difficult to sustain over a 3 month period, the novelty wears kinda thin.
Any way I have been forced to get in the festive mood as it is Weft Studio's Christmas preview night this coming Friday and I have been frantically making stock like Santa's elves on Christmas eve.
There are very few occasions when I actually make something that I like [the eternal perfectionist constantly tempts me to throw it in the bin] however I definitely *♥* what I have done this time.

A veritable bunting bonanza! The flags are made with chipboard and covered both sides with a variety of papers from my stash, the letters are cut on the Craft Robo, the gems are from the £1 shop - a serious bargain! There are a variety of stamps too; including Prima, magnetic poetry, Love Elsie, Scrappy Cat and Studio G. The bunting is strung together with Jute string and finished off with American Crafts ribbon.
I hope that you can find some *peace* and quiet to create soon, if that's what brings you *joy* and I hope you end up falling in *love* with what you create.
If you want to check out some more festive sneak peaks take a look at Weft's new blog which has some rather yummy bits and pieces.

Right I'm off to avoid anything else festive for a while.
Au revoir!

Fantastic bunting Hannah, you're right to be pleased with the end result! Love the modern edge to these while still keeping them so they'd fit perfectly with more traditional decs, great job!
