I'm wearing yellow...

Good morning sunshine seeking people.
Some of you may remember my recent post related to Julie's Month of Sunrays series in which she is challenging all of us to bring a little sunshine to our dull February days.
The challenge was set... wear yellow. Not an easy task for me as the range of yellow clothing I own is seriously limited. However I managed it, combined with grey it looked surprisingly good.

The top is from Dorothy Perkins and has been rescued from the charity shop bag more than once, the ring was from Yumi, cardi; Primark, grey felt Trilby TKMaxx [a bargain at £2] and the scarf I made myself.

I would not discount wearing yellow again but it's never going to replace the top spot of pink or turquoise.
Why don't you introduce  a little sunshine into your life? All of Julie's posts in this series can be found here.

See you soon you sun worshippers.

A little ray of sunshine...

All this month over on Notes on paper Julie is trying to introduce a little brightness into our lives as the dull and dreary days surround us.

Today seemed an appropriate day to post my record of sunshine as we are suffering from serious 'spotty dog' over here in the North West. Thats fog for those of you not up with the family lingo.

For those of you that follow me on Twitter you may recall my tweet about my trip to buy a new bedtime read which resulted in a purchase of acrylic paints instead. Not great for reading but inside my shiny new set of paints there were no less than 4 shades of yellow.

I am still working on being able to wear yellow about my person, the only yellow items I own are some yellow leggings and a yellow tunic top. I fear I may look like a chicken [literally] if I combine the two.
Perhaps a yellow and grey combo is the way to go. Keep your eyes peeled there may be photographic evidence of such an outfit coming this way soon.
